Sr Logistics Analyst

Responsible for coordination and booking for all shipments including revenue, service, and POC orders with various 3PL, freight forwarders and couriers

o Arrange and coordinate freight with contract manufacturers

• Generate commercial invoices and SLI for international shipments

• Serve as the main escalation point for all logistical matters including shipment exceptions, clearance, and final delivery to the customer

• Responsible for asset creation and asset management within CRM systems

o Responsible for keeping track of all assets shipped to the field and all software licenses that are tied to all hardware orders

• Serve as logistics support contact for customer, sales, and support

o Ensure that orders for revenue and POC shipments are delivered on time

o Manage and track movement of deliveries, provide daily update and track and trace to the field

o Identify exceptions and work with couriers for resolution

o Proactive and timely communication around open requests and exceptions

• Coordinate pack out of finished goods inventory for orders including revenue, POC, and assist with service shipments

• Responsible for all POC returns from the field

o Coordinate, arrange, and schedule collection from the customer

o Coordinate return and receipt with contract manufacturer and drive refurbishment status

o Inbound and receiving any POC Returns from the field that are returned to VAST

o Perform item receipt for purchase orders and POC Returns

• Assist in physical inventory counts, track movement of raw and finished good materials

o Perform inventory transactions for movement of material

o Perform monthly counts and reporting for Finance and Operations

• Maintain safety stock inventory for certain items that are needed for field installation

• Responsible for daily system transactions and inventory transactions

• Assists in month end and quarter end close

o Provide freight billing and department codes to Finance

o Audit shipment invoices and spend

• Responsible for logistics metrics and KPI including on time delivery, shipment exceptions, shipment expedites, and freight spend



• Must be able to identify opportunities and obstacles and take appropriate necessary action to address them

• Possess good problem solving and decision-making skills

• Embrace change, and must be a team player, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company

• The ability to assess risk and willingness to take calculated risks to achieve goals

• Ability to lift 70lbs

• Willingness to travel to various inventory and logistics staging location, including vendors, partners, distributor, warehouses, contract manufacturers, and offices


• Must have 4-5 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding

• Understanding of international logistics including import and export requirements, HTS classification, ECCN determination, clearance process, and BIS standards

• Understanding of return shipments and reverse logistics

• Understanding of ERP Business Information Systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Netsuite)

• Understanding of Salesforce and asset management

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, Google Workspace, and Jira

• Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
