VAST Data is looking for a Senior System Administrator with strong background in Active Directory administration, Linux system administration and as well as a desire to learn and apply DevOps principles and experience in scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including domains, forests, trusts, and group policies.
Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory-related issues, such as replication and performance problems.
Implement and maintain Active Directory-based security features, such as conditional access and advanced threat protection.
Learn and apply DevOps principles to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of our Active Directory infrastructure.
Collaborate with other teams to automate deployments, testing, and monitoring of Active Directory-related systems using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Experience with Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
Experience with Linux operating systems and command line tools.
Experience with AWS services such as Amazon Directory Service, AWS Managed Microsoft AD, and AWS Single Sign-On.
Experience with IaaS and PaaS services like AWS EC2, RDS, and Lambda
Experience with Cloud services and platforms like AWS.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
5+ years of experience in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting. - Must
Strong understanding of Active Directory design and best practices. - Must
Proven Knowledge with cloud services and platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) - Must
Strong scripting experience in languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash. - An advantage
Strong Linux system administration skills. - An advantage
Strong desire to learn and apply DevOps principles.
