Senior Solutions Engineer
Description
We are seeking experienced Solutions Engineers who possess both technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to partner with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions. Solutions Engineers collaborate with operations and business development to help craft solutions to meet customer business problems.
A Solutions Engineer works to balance various aspects of the project, from safety to design. Additionally, a Solutions Engineer researches advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and recommending solutions that meet those needs.
- Creating technical documentations.
- Analyzing existing architectures to recommend improvements or identify weaknesses.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions based on client needs.
- Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
- Troubleshooting and ability to analyze technical problems to prevent future occurrence.
- Deploy, Configure and Test the NAS storage.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve.
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- Ability to work multiple projects and rapidly integrate and support new customers/environments.
- Background in operating systems management products.
- Good understanding of SMB/NFS and S3 protocol.
- In-depth knowledge on Active Directory disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- In-depth Knowledge on Hyper-v, VMware.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems.
- Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
