Marketing Data Analyst

VAST Data’s marketing organization is looking for a data analyst to help direct and empower data driven decisions throughout the customer journey (Awareness, Consideration, Purchase, Retention, Advocacy).   • Experience in analysis supporting marketing or sales and collaborating with key GTM stakeholders to design scalable, repeatable, and effective reporting solutions such as weekly status updates, quarterly business reviews, YoY and QoQ comparisons
  • Build reports to drive discussions, facilitate decision making, and bring light to actionable insights
  • Strong background with Salesforce and other IT systems to quickly to extract and prepare required datasets for analytics and display them on a BI tool
  • Experience with account-based marketing and/or marketing campaign analytics a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare and present analytical reports to executive leaders and key GTM stakeholders
  • Power User with Google Sheets or Excel and comfortable with SQL
  • Proficient BI Tool user with experience with dashboarding
  • Ability to work in a fast paced startup environment


  • You will analyze marketing data to measure the impact of marketing campaigns globally, apply analytical techniques and leverage your model-building skills to help the GTM team answer critical business questions
  • You will help us determine future investments as well synthesizing them into digestible communications for senior leaders to drive strategic decision-making
  • Develop compelling reports, dashboards and data visualizations to help tell accurate business stories
