Architecture Matters: Experience the Future of AI Data Infrastructure with VAST at GTC 2025

Marianne Budnik, CMO

Believe it or not, we are one week to NVIDIA GTC 2025. Speaking for the team at VAST, I could not be more excited and more ready for the AI event of the year. I’m happy to share the details on our participation at GTC this year and how you can engage us all week long.

At GTC, VAST will drive home a critical message: architecture matters. As AI adoption accelerates, traditional data architectures are becoming roadblocks - constraining scalability, creating siloed complexity, and exposing data to security risks. Without a modern foundation, organizations struggle to extract real-time insights and unlock the full potential of AI.

That’s why we built the DASE architecture from the ground up to eliminate these challenges and empower a new generation of AI builders. Whether you’re building large-scale AI models, optimizing inference pipelines, or deploying next-gen applications, VAST provides the data platform to fuel innovation without compromise.

Join us at GTC to explore how VAST is defining AI data infrastructure. Through key sessions, live demos, and conversations with our experts, you’ll see firsthand why VAST is the data platform for the AI era—built for speed, scale, and simplicity. Book a meeting ahead of the show here.

Engage our Interactive Demos

Be sure to visit VAST booth #733, the hub of all VAST activity, where you’ll find several demo kiosks designed to provide hands-on experiences with the VAST Data Platform. This year’s demos include:

  • Training AI Models with Synthetic Data on Object This demo will show users how to generate annotated synthetic objects, detailing the prompts and models used, and how this boosts model performance and enriches training datasets.

  • Auto Scaling Inferencing to On-Demand Cloud This demo showcases elastic scaling for AI inference across multiple clouds. Watch inference jobs seamlessly burst between clouds during demand spikes, ensuring peak performance with automated workload distribution.

  • Observability and Efficiency in Large-Scale Systems This demo highlights advanced observability within the platform, seamlessly linking workload JobIDs from the scheduler to real-time data flows. Discover how to track and visualize data movement with precision, gaining deep insights into workload performance and resource utilization.

We’ll also have demo stations for various RAG initiatives - including protecting privacy of secure RAG data; using file permissions with RAG; and integrating video into RAG pipelines - as well as deep dives into the VAST Data Platform and the VAST InsightEngine with NVIDIA.

Network at VAST-Exclusive Events

You can connect with VASTronauts, industry leaders, and peers at our curated events throughout the conference. I’ll call out just a few special events worth attending; please see the full list here:

  • Unwind Hosted by VAST, Crusoe, Deloitte, and HPE Tuesday, March 18 | 7:30 - 9 PM Location: The Continental Bar Lounge Together with our friends Crusoe, Deloitte, HPE, and NVIDIA, we invite you to UNWIND with a night of cocktails, conversation and tacos. We look forward to sharing great drinks, delicious bites, and even better company with you.

  • Rethinking AI Training Infrastructure Wednesday, March 19 | 8:00 - 9:30 AM Location: Morton’s The Steakhouse Glenn Lockwood joins VAST co-founder Jeff Denworth to continue their conversation on the transition away from parallel file systems for LLM training. Don’t miss this lively breakfast conversation between two industry luminaries bringing clarity to the shifting AI pipeline and evolving workload dynamics. Register.

  • VAST + NVIDIA: The Blueprint For An AI Cloud Wednesday, March 19 | 12 - 1:30 PM Location: Morton’s The Steakhouse Join us for lunch and a discussion on architecting AI Clouds for CSPs and enterprises. John Fragalla, Principal Architect at NVIDIA, and Alon Horev, VAST co-founder and VP of Technology, will define AI clouds, outline key capabilities, and explore evolving market trends.

  • AI’s Game-Changing Impact on Fan Engagement Thursday, March 20 | 8:00 - 9:30 AM Discover how the VAST InsightEngine, powered by NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization, transforms game footage into dynamic, interactive content that delivers real-time insights and redefines the fan experience. In this talk, we’ll delve into how an intelligent data ingestion pipeline processes vast amounts of video seamlessly, surfacing game-changing moments that were once hidden in static archives.
